Keith Walendowski was charged by police in Milwaukee with disorderly conduct and possession of a
sawn-off shotgun.

He could face a fine of up to $11,000 and a maximum prison sentence of six-and-a-half years if convicted.

Police officers said Mr Walendowski had told them: "It's my lawn mower and my yard, so I can shoot it if I want."

There have been plenty of times when I wanted to shoot a lawn mower. I can't stand the drone of gas-powered mowers.

I hate to say it, but the opening sentence made me laugh. I'm wondering though, aside from the sawed off, if it's on his property, are they really going to get away with this case? I can easily see it getting thrown out, is all.

I think I am going to have to side with the gun toting crazy, just this once.
